BROOK HALL: Brook graduated from Methodist College May 5 with a degree in Elementary Education. She is currently employed with Cape Fear Farm Credit. Brook is the daughter of James Ray and Kim Hall
SARAH OWEN: Sarah will graduate from Cape Fear High School June 7, 2007 6th in her class. Throughout her high school career Sarah has taken all honor and 7 of 9 AP classes offered at Cape Fear maintaining a straight A average. She received the Catalyst Award in Science at Summer Ventures her 10th grade year. She was selected as a Junior Marshal and is a member of the Cape Fear Natural Science Academy. A Marching Colt throughout high school, Sarah has been first chair clarinet for the past two years and clarinet section leader as a senior. Selected to be in Cape Fear’s award winning Wind Ensemble in 8th grade she has continued in the group all 4 years. She has also participated in Cape Fear’s Stage Band and in All-County and All-District bands. Sarah plans to enter the Ivy Leaguethis fall becoming a Fighting Quaker at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Majoring in biochemistry she will likely pursue a PhD. In biochemistry and a career in pharmaceutical research. Sarah is the oldest daughter of Joe and Stephanie Hales.
GARY BROCK, II: Gary will graduate from Cape Fear High School June 7, 2007. Throughout high school he was a member of Health Occupational Students of America (HOSA) serving as vice president for 3 years. He also enjoyed singing in the Chorus and was selected as most friendly by his senior class peers. Gary was a Junior Volunteer at Cape Fear Valley and Highsmith Hospitals for two years. He plans to attend Fayetteville Community College and continue his education in the health field. He is the son of Gary and Eva Brock.
HEATHER BULLARD: Heather will graduate from Cape Fear High School June 7, 2007 with a 3.2 GPA. She was a member of the Foreign Language Club grade 10 studying Spanish, a member of HOSA grades 11 & 12 and a member of the Chorus grades 10 & 12. She has been a Junior Volunteer at Cape Fear Valley Hospital for 4 years, a Council member for 2 years and was a member of Health Quest in 2006. Heather is listed among Who’s who in American High School Students. She currently enjoys working after school as an assistant teacher at Salem Preschool. Heather will begin classes at East Carolina University August 22 studying Speech Pathology. She is the daughter of Johnny and Margaret Bullard.
MEGAN BULLARD: Megan will graduate from Cape Fear High School June 7, 2007. She has been a member of HOSA for 4 years serving as president her senior year. She was a member of the band in grades 9 and 10. Megan will enter Campbell University this fall for premed studies majoring in biology. She is the daughter of ReDonna Taylor and Henry Wade Bullard.
BROOKE WEATHINGTON: Brooke will graduate from Cape Fear High School June 7, 2007 as a NC Scholar and honor student. She was selected as a graduation Marshal and was president of the Academy of Scholars. Brooke was a member of the Beta Club, FFA, HOSA, the Spanish Honor Society, Colts for Christ and was elected to the homecoming court. She played centerfielder for the varsity softball team for 4 years making 2nd team All-Conference 2005 and Honorable Mention 2006. Brooke plans to attend NC State University in the fall to study chemistry. She then plans to attend med school with a focus on Pediatric Neurology. She is a finalist for the Centennial Scholarship at NC State, a full 4-year scholarship. Brooke is the daughter of Scott & Kim Weathington
MORGAN WEATHINGTON: Morgan will graduate from Cape Fear High School June 7, 2007, an A-B honor roll student. She was a member of the FFA, Colts for Christ and was elected to the homecoming court. Morgan was catcher for the varsity softball team for 4 years making 1st team All-Conference 3 years, All Region 2 years and All State 2 years. She was selected to the Two Rivers All-Conference Tournament Team in 2007 and was a member of the East Coast All-Star Team 2007 making 2nd team East Coast All Region. Morgan was a recipient of the Iron Colt Award and was a member of the cheerleading squad 2005. She plans to attend Peace College in the fall on a full softball scholarship; then plans to attend NC State University to study architecture and design. She is the daughter of Scott and Kim Weathington.
SHANNON THOMPSON: Shannon will graduate from Cape Fear High School June 7, 2007. She was in the Junior ROTC for 4 years and on the drill team for 3. The drill team went undefeated in competition for 2007. Shannon plans to attend Sampson Community College pursuing a career in cosmetology. She is the daughter of Kirby & Sarah Thompson.
JACOB KEPLEY: Jacob will graduate from Cape Fear High School June 7, 2007. He is the son of Keith and Jackie Hendryx Wake.
